A new component AA-MP-I was isolated from Agkistrodon acutus venom by thiophilic chromatography, Sephadex G-75, blue gel and POROS HQ 20 ion exchange chromatography. The enzyme is a monomer protein with a molecular weight of 22.9 kDa, with an isoelectric point of 5.55, no neutral sugar group, and its N-terminal sequence is STEFQRYMEIVVDHSMVK. The results show that it is a new P-I metalloproteinase, sensitive to temperature, has anticoagulant activity, the strongest anticoagulant activity at 40 ℃, has haemorrhagic toxicity, and has no phospholipase A: activity
