Objective: to isolate and purify a small peptide (k fraction) from agkistrodon acutus venom in guangxi, and study its apoptosis inducing effect on tumor cell lines and other anti-tumor mechanisms. Conclusion: A small molecule polypeptide has been successfully isolated and purified from Agkistrodon acutus in Guangxi. Since this component has the nature of deconditioning and biological activity, it has inhibition effect on tumor cells to varying degrees. The mechanism of its effect may be through inducing cell apoptosis, anti cell adhesion and anti angiogenesis.
